Park and Sears Portraits June 2011

Today I was lucky enough to take my girls to the park.  Days like this I am so grateful that my amazing husband makes it possible for me to have my dream job.  Spending time with my girls.  We woke up had breakfast, got dressed and had a trip to the park.  It was lovely (it was around 9 before the heat set in :) ) 
 Then it was snack time, nap time (play for Xandra) lunch time and time to get some pictures taken at Sears.  My sister had some incredible beautiful pics taken of her gorgeous baby Kinsley (can having beautiful babies be a family tradition... cause it is for my family!)

Anyway that made me think Xandra's birthday is coming up and its been about 6 months since we had pics taken at Christmas so it seemed like portrait time! :) 
Here they are.
Xandra has always loved having her photo taken.  Hannah was not too excited about having a stranger so close or sitting still so long.  She liked the candy, but that just made her scream for more candy!  I really thought right after nap, feed her lunch, then she will be in a great mood... but she was not into it!  I think we still got some pretty great pics though.  I can post them directly once we get our copies.
I have to admit.  It's hard for me to have pictures taken of the girls without Samantha.  I can't help imagining what it would have looked like for Xandra to pose with her two little sisters.  I just kept asking my little St. Samantha to pray for her mommy and sissies.

Hawaiian Hannah, Last Day of Kindermusik, Swimming Lesson (Tuesday!)

 I loved seeing Hannah in this outfit! Is it so adorable?!  This was a gift from a friend of the family who were in Hawaii around the time the babies were born.  It pained me that I had an extra outfit.  But I thought Hannah looked so beautiful.  I couldnt help imagining Samantha next to her in her little Hawaiian dress.  I miss her so much.

 It was also Xandra's last day of Kindermusik before summer.  This is her teacher Miss Alissa and her classmates.  She will miss it and hopefully we can pick it up next fall.

Swimming lessons was a little more successful.  They did at least talk about using your arms to swim and worked on floating on your back.  Im pretty sure we won't be doing another session of this.  Time for Mommy's Swim School :)
Since I'm missing Samantha I'm gonna spend a few "resting time" moments working on my scrapbook.  I have picked up the crocheting and have made progress but I can't figure out the pattern I want to do.  I'll have to get some help.

Wedding, Chuck E Cheese and Swimming Lesson

 

Alexandra was a flower girl in my cousin's weffing this past Saturday.  It was really beautiful and I thought Xandra did great!  This is a pic of our practice run for the wedding.  Asyou can see we were pleased with how it turned out.  

 I wish I had some pics from the actual wedding to show you.  However the Johnsons are having technical difficulties. I'm going to see if I can get some from my mom tomorrow.
Today The girls and I went with my brother Andrew and his girlfriend, my brother James and my dad to CHuck E Cheese.  Xandra loooooved it!  SHe had sooo much fun and loved the show also.  Hannah also had a blast.  SHe wasnt that thrilled about the rides but she loved running around, pushing buttons and climbing on rides.  As long as they didnt move.

THen after all that excitement we went to Xandra's first swimming lesson.  She had a blast. Not suprisingly I was not impressed.  Xandra already knew how to put her ears and chin in the water and blow bubbles.

I may be changing her to a different class.We'll see cause we will be back tomorrow.
